In this photograph is the
flower of the ‘Giant Granadilla’ aka ‘Barbadine”. The fruit makes a delicious drink, and ice-cream,
however, the leaves are brewed in a tea and is used for high blood pressure and
or diabetes.
The flower is scented, and
shown here, it is in its pre-opening state.
I took this photography at my brother’s home. I also brought a barbadine home, which will
soon end up either in a mug or the ice-cream maker.
