Every day I see this
vendor selling his pies out of this sidewalk stall. His umbrella folded below the Styrofoam cooler
and the promise of pies on his sign. He
is often sitting in the sweltering sun, waiting for the next patron. Today however, he was nowhere in sight, but
his goods were up for purchase, he must’ve gone inside for a quick reprieve,
only to miss a passerby of his next purchase.
One day maybe I will give it a try, one day maybe I will stop by.
