Yesterday’s tree trunk
yield today’s harvest. As I look up to
the heavens the soft pillow of the clouds are duplicated in miniature taffetas
of cotton, as if the heavens themselves reached down and placed them on the
tips of dry branches for our delight.
Silky soft sinewy cotton, white, off white, set against the blue
serenity of sky.
