Nelumbo Lutea (Also known
as American Lotus, Yellow Lotus, Water-chinquapin, volee’ and shower flower)
Part 3
Third phase of the Nelumbo
Lutea, and in this picture, you can see where the name ‘Shower Flower’ came
from. It shows the inner parts shaped
like a shower head, in bokeh background, you can see remnants of the dried
version as the stem that has now withered and broken, having the ‘shower like head’ bent
downwards. These flowers are used in
wedding cake decorations.
